We currently offer three semesters during the school year; each with
it's own song collection as well as two sessions during the summer:
Fall: begins early September and runs 10 weeks
Winter: begins early January and runs 10 weeks
Spring: begins late March/early April and runs 10 weeks
Summer Session I: begins mid-late June and runs 6 weeks
Mini-Session II: 4 week session in August

Mixed
(Infants- Kindergarten)
This is the essential Music Together class, one that a child can attend from birth through age five -- and through all nine song collections. This basic class follows the recommendations of child development researchers -- grouping children of a variety of ages because this fosters natural, family-style learning. Younger children enjoy watching and imitating older ones, older children learn by leading younger ones, and adults are happy because the children in the family can go to class together. Each child participates at his or her own level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, watching, or exploring musical instruments. Any caregiver -- parents, grandparents, nanny -- can bring the children. The whole family is welcome for this important family music experience.
Babies
(Newborn to 8 months)
Every child's musical development benefits from early exposure to music and movement. Babies eight months and younger can attend a mixed-ages class free with a registered sibling or babies can also attend the special “Babies Class” offered as a one-semester introduction to Music Together. The music activities and materials are specially designed for parents who want to learn as much as possible about music development in infants. This class has its own Babies Song Collection.
Music Together Guitar Class for Parents

This class is designed to help facilitate family music making, and uses modified chords to allow easy access to the instrument. Adults, who have children currently enrolled in a parent-child class, learn in a fun group setting using song material from the current collection. Students learn to hear chord changes as well as reading chord charts. The tuition for the eight week session includes a supplemental workbook.
New! Intergenerational Class
Senior residents at Atria Manresa join in the fun, singing and dancing along with the children and their parents or caregivers. Infants, toddlers and kindergarteners get a chance to befriend older folks in the neighborhood. Atria Manresa is a lovely facility overlooking the Severn River in Annapolis, on the opposite side of the bridge from the Naval Academy. Vicki Lomax, the recreation director is thrilled to be welcoming Music Together to Atria. We are excited to bring the joy of family music making to this senior community, and for families to have an opportunity to participate in this rich musical experience.
